Unmasking the future of customized paint jobs!  The new Pixel Paint package makes producing two-tone and paint jobs faster and more efficient.  Custom colors are applied in a single pass, ensuring no paint is wasted, offering a reduction in costs and an improvement in environmental performance.

ABB has launched the RB 1000i-S paint atomizer to revolutionize automotive paint shops. The new paint atomizer mounted on top of the ABB robot improves transfer efficiency by upwards of 10%, and can significantly reduce paint waste by a minimum of 30% along with carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, compared to its predecessor, the RB 1000i. In addition, major efficiency and cost saving benefits have the potential to deliver significant financial savings.

ABB Robotics has collaborated with two world-renowned artists, eight-year-old Indian child prodigy Advait Kolarkar and Dubai-based digital design collective Illusorr, to create the world’s first robot-painted art car. ABB’s award-winning PixelPaint technology has, without human intervention, perfectly recreated Advait’s swirling, monochromatic design as well as Illusorr’s tri-color geometrical patterns.

Our door painting Powercarts communicate with a painting robot.  Our door rotation device easily spins the door allowing for both sides to be painted by the robot.

The system palletizes 5 gallon drums of paint at a rate of up to 48 per minute. The features include the use of a single robot, the speed and flexibility of the system, the weight of the load (four drums at a time = 220 lbs/100kg) being palletized and the dexterity of the gripper.
